AASA
The Boston University Arts Administration Student Association (AASA) was formed in the spring of 1995 to provide opportunities for social interaction, educational enrichment and career development for Arts Administration students. Our mission is to help students in the program build a sense of community while making valuable contacts for a future in the arts administration profession. As part of this mission, the association works to make new students feel as comfortable and confident as possible from the moment they arrive.
We ask that all students who would like to be more involved with AASA sign up for the committee that best suits their interests. Participating in a committee is not a requirement of membership in AASA (all Arts Administration students are automatically members), but it is a great way to meet and work with fellow students, as well as alumni and professionals in the field.
AASA can be a valuable instrument in raising the profile of the Arts Administration program among industry professionals, as well as an indispensable resource for developing personal and professional relationships with fellow students. We hope that you will choose to lend your time and talents as active members of AASA as we endeavor to make the association a more visible part of the BU Arts Administration program and the arts community in Boston. We hope to hear from many of you!
The AASA is now on Myspace and Facebook!
