Bill Cunningham, former instructor, director, assistant & technical director of Cannon Mountain, died on May 22, 2007 of
AL amyloidosis. For Cunningham, the illness was misdiagnosed for several years, until it was too late. The event is being held to raise awareness about amyloidosis.
The ”Race to Beat Amyloid” is set for 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2013. It is open to all ages, and registration starts at 8:00 AM in the Notchview Lodge.
The raffle will be set in the Family Room next door beginning at 9:00 AM, with the drawings after 3:00 PM. Attendance is not necessary as long as your name and email address are included with your check made payable to BMC Amyloid Research Center, and you can arrange for prize pick-up by March 17.
