The Hindi-Urdu Program collaborated with BU Dheem, a South Asian classical dance team at BU, at their annual talent show, ‘Shakti’ on Sunday, March 31st. The show focused on themes of women empowerment and included various classical dance performances embodying women’s narratives through the ages. The Hindi-Urdu program set up a table at the event to promote South Asian languages and culture and to highlight the exciting language and culture courses it offers. The Hindi-Urdu faculty had the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of BU student population attending the event.
