Yumiko Tashiro completed her Ph.D. in Japanese Applied Linguistics at Purdue University. Prior to joining Boston University in 2022, she taught at various institutions including Washington and Lee University, Kenyon College, and Middlebury Language Schools’ summer program. Her research interests are second language acquisition, Japanese pedagogy, and technology enhanced language learning.
