Zhen Lei received MA in Secondary Education in Chinese from Brandeis University, BA in Spanish Literature from Capital Normal University. Before coming to Boston University, she taught
Chinese and volunteered as teaching assistant at Park School, Driscoll Middle School Bigelow Middle School, and Newton South High School. She has been teaching all age Chinese learners. Her
research interest in translation and interpret between English Chinese and Spanish Chinese. She led the translation work in translating these three books to Chinese: Ruckert, G. (2004). Music in
