Melisa Osborne is a trained biochemist and research assistant professor in the Daniel Segrè Lab at Boston University. She developed and teaches the course BI/BF510 Institutional Racism in Health and Science in the Department of Biology and Graduate Program of Bioinformatics at Boston University. At BU Wheelock, she is the primary instructor for WED SC 645, an online offering of Institutional Racism in Health in Science that is part of the EdM in Education for Equity & Social Justice certificate and degree programs.
