
Benjamin Feit
Part-Time Instructor
Dr. Benjamin Feit is an independent educational consultant and a part-time faculty member in the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies program at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Fusing his backgrounds in law, educational leadership, and nonprofit management, Dr. Feit supports organizational improvement and policy reform initiatives designed to promote equity-driven innovation within public education systems. Drawing on his experience as a system and school leader, educator, board member, capacity-building partner, and researcher, Dr. Feit provides strategic and technical assistance to institutional clients including state and local education agencies, statewide charter support organizations, charter schools and networks, private foundations, university-based consultancies, and education innovation nonprofits.
Dr. Feit’s dissertation explored the unique challenges inherent in leading geographically non-contiguous school systems, particularly those whose campuses are located in multiple states. After graduating from Duke University School of Law magna cum laude and serving as a staff editor on the institution’s flagship law review, Dr. Feit clerked for the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
