BU Wheelock Celebrates 2025 Convocation

2025 BU Wheelock Convocation
The BU Wheelock community gathered to celebrate the graduation of the 2025 class of undergraduates and graduate students. Students, families, faculty, staff, and others attended several events held over Boston University’s 2025 Commencement Weekend, which took place May 15–18. These events included a graduate student celebration and an undergraduate brunch.
The BU Wheelock convocation ceremony honoring the graduation of the college’s approximately 65 undergraduate and 296 graduate students, was held Saturday, May 17. Dean Penny Bishop presided over her first convocation as dean of BU Wheelock, and the graduates were also addressed by Julia Challinor (Wheelock’75).
Jayde Best (Wheelock’25), who graduated with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health, was the undergraduate student speaker. Gabrielle Branche, who completed a master’s degree in curriculum and teaching, was the graduate student speaker.
