Alumni Weekend 2025

To all who were able to join us during 2025 Boston University Alumni Weekend, we're so glad you could make it! And to those who were not, we missed you!

Alums came together for several special events, including the 2025 Alumni Awards recognized five alumni whose commitment and advocacy have had far-reaching impact in Boston, the nation, and beyond. Awards were presented to Mary Bourque, Ashley Sharpe-Porter, Raul Fernandez, Deborah Buehler, and Christine Benero.

There was also a BU Wheelock tea with the Lucy’s Legacy Foundation, and at “Curiosity 101: Uncertainty and Sensemaking in Science Education,” BU Wheelock faculty members TJ McKenna and Eve Manz explored ways to transform classrooms into places of scientific learning.

Check out a recording of the 2025 Alumni Awards and photos of all the special events (including highlights from the archives of historic Wheelock College and BU's School of Education!).
