Dr. Mary Hughes directs the EdM in TESOL Applied Linguistics and TESOL Graduate Certificate programs. Her research focuses on first and second language acquisition, multilingualism, applied linguistics, and language education, with an emphasis on helping multilingual learners succeed through evidence-based instruction.
