The Curriculum & Teaching program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development prepares educators to become more effective leaders in the classroom, deepen their professional skills, and evaluate the results of their teaching. Students in the Curriculum & Teaching program are prepared to teach academic subjects like mathematics, social studies, special education, and modern languages. They learn critical professional skills, such as managing a classroom and conducting research.
The Boston University Curriculum & Teaching program offers a both a master’s degree and a certificate of advanced graduate study (CAGS) for those who have an advanced degree and would like to gain more specialized knowledge. Some of our EdM specializations can lead to an endorsement for initial teaching licensure.
