Mitali Temurnikar is a doctoral student in counseling psychology at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Her research interests focus on global workforce development and the integration of technology in career development, specifically examining the role of policy and innovative career readiness interventions to enhance vocational outcomes across diverse populations.

Mitali currently works at the Center for Future Readiness. She is involved in initiatives to build capacity in education systems and organizations in designing and implementing career and workforce development programs. Mitali’s work is firmly grounded in practical application, as she seeks innovative solutions to address the existing gaps in access and advocacy in the field.

As a master’s student, Mitali worked in a trauma-informed mental health clinic in her first year and career counseling in her second year. Her work was in the area of developing and facilitating culturally responsive career development interventions and psychological safety. For her work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Penn GSE, she received an award for excellence in promoting DEI.
