About BU Google Apps
- BU Google Apps is hosted through G Suite for Education. Many, although not all, services provided through commercially-available Google are also available through BU Google Apps.
- Those with a BU Google Apps account can access mail sent to login@bu.edu through BU Google Mail. In addition, the BU Google Apps account provides access to Calendar, Drive, Sites, and more.

Account Access
- Access to BU Google Apps is secured by Web Login and available at www.bu.edu/google and www.bu.edu/webmail.
- A BU Google Apps account is provisioned to all incoming students. Faculty and staff who would like a BU Google Apps account, can enable one at the Account Creation page.
- BU Google Apps account requires Duo two-factor authentication. For more information and to enroll visit: www.bu.edu/tech/duo
- *If you’re already enrolled and using Duo, you do not need to enroll again, you will be automatically prompted starting on 11/12/20

Please Note: Faculty and staff are welcome to enable Google Apps to utilize BU Google Sites, Calendar, and Google Drive, but Office 365 Outlook– NOT BU Google Mail – should be used for official University communications. Additionally faculty and staff must adhere to the University Security and Data Protection policies prior to enabling a Google Apps account
