Use the Media Library in WordPress to upload images (.jpg, .gif, .png files, etc.) and documents (.pdf, .doc, .xls files, etc.). Name your files appropriately before uploading – use short descriptive file names, and don’t use capital letters or word spaces. For images, resize them to the desired size before uploading them.
To access your Media Library: Click Manage then Media Library, or click Add Media when editing a Post or Page.
