Job Classification Guide

This guide applies to all student employees. Hourly-paid student employees should be paid at the same base hourly rate for comparable work, whether they have Work-Study or are paid with departmental funds.

Supervisors grade jobs based on the complexity and responsibilities of the position. Once the Grade Level is determined, each job must be assigned a Job Code, which will establish the position’s category and the job title.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We are a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
