Common food allergens include, but are not limited to, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, milk, eggs, wheat, and soy. If you are concerned that you might have a food allergy but have not yet received an official diagnosis, we recommend that you visit a board-certified allergist. Food Intolerances
Our RDNs are also specially trained to help you manage food intolerances. Food intolerances are nonimmunologic adverse reactions that may cause uncomfortable symptoms. Common intolerances include lactose intolerance, non-celiac gluten intolerance, and FODMAPs (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols).
