Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to avoid a cancellation fee of $30.
Payment Policy
SCNC RDNs are participating providers for:
- Aetna
- Aetna Student Health
- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Tufts Health Plan
- United Healthcare
Insurance coverage for nutrition services varies greatly depending on policy type and medical diagnosis. Please check with your insurance company to determine if Medical Nutrition Therapy is a covered health benefit. It is ultimately your responsibility to determine if the services you are seeking will be covered. You will be responsible for any balance not covered by insurance.
If SCNC is not a part of your insurance provider network, we will provide an itemized bill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration. Your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of the fee. Coverage for nutrition services should be determined prior to submission.
- Payments for services that are not covered by insurance are due at the time of service.
- Copayments and coinsurance are due at the time of service.
