The MS in Business Analytics is a 3-semester program that develops your ability to think critically about data problems in business contexts. The curriculum is primarily designed to enhance your statistical and programming acumen through rigorous hands-on coursework. Though real-world examples and applications, you’ll get hands-on exposure of how AI and advanced analytics is used in various industries and business functions.
The MS in Business Analytics program at the Questrom School of Business is currently designated by US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a STEM-eligible degree program. International students in F-1 student status may be able to apply for a 24-month extension of their 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) employment authorization. More information about STEM OPT eligibility is available from the BU International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO).

Students can also customize electives from over 12 different courses.
The program begins with a Programming & Statistical Foundations Bootcamp in August prior to the first fall semester. This course may be waived by demonstrating mastery of pre-requisite skills, or by successfully completing approved online coursework prior to program start.
