I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in August 2024. My main areas of interest are in Logic, Metaphysics, the Philosophy of Mathematics, the Philosophy of Logic, and the Philosophy of Language. My dissertation is a critical study of the metaontology of Bob Hale and Crispin Wright’s Abstractionism, a philosophy of mathematics with historical ties to the philosophical and technical work of Gottlob Frege. Therein, I criticize their method for demonstrating that numbers exist, and I develop a novel approach that meets their realist aims – one that employs a number of technical results from model theory.
