The BU Hub is Boston University’s general education program. In the course of fulfilling the requirements for a philosophy major, students will also fulfill a broad range of Hub requirements. By default, these will include PLM, HCO, GCI (1 unit), ETR, WIN (1 unit), CRT, and RIL (1 unit). In addition, the other GCI and WIN units, AEX, SI1, SI2, SO1, SO2, QR1, IIC, and OSC can easily be fulfilled by taking courses required for the major. Many joint majors will naturally fulfill requirements besides these—e.g. QR2 and TWC.
