President Emeritus John Silber dies at 86

Fall 2011 new faculty appointments

This fall, the Philosophy Department welcomes two new faculty members: Russell Powell, Assistant Professor, and Sanem Soyarslan, Visiting Assistant Professor.  Please join us in welcoming them. Also, Amelie Rorty, who has been a Visiting Professor of Philosophy in the department since 2008, is now beginning the new academic year as the John Findlay Visiting Professor.
