Memorial Service for Krzysztof Michalski, Monday, October 28th 6-8pm
A memorial service and reception will be held in celebration of the life and career of the late Krzysztof
Michalski, (June 8, 1948 – February 10, 2013). Professor of Philosophy at Boston University and the
University of Warsaw, Founder and Rektor of Das Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen (Wien). A small reception will be held afterwards.
Speakers and Tributes:

- “Krzysztof Michalski als Erzieher” by Professor James Dodd, followed by a discussion of Krzyszof Michalski’s The Flame of Eternity: An Interpretation of the Philosophy of Nietzsche (Princeton, 2012), led by Professor James Dodd, Chairman, Department of Philosophy, New School for Social Research (NYC)
- Tributes by colleagues, students and friends in attendance (at random)
- FIRST MOVEMENT OF Mendelssohn’s string quartet in F-minor: BU CFA STUDENT STRINGQUARTET
