The department sees a particular need in the history of modern philosophy, but will seriously consider candidates from all areas of specialization. Our diverse interests lead us to value cooperation across the field. Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications. Teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Ph.D. direction, and the normal committee work. Evidence of superior teaching is desirable.
