Arielle Anayanci Moore (Perrachione Lab | Stephen Lab) graduated from Oakwood University in 2020 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She is co-mentored by Dr. Tyler Perrachione and Dr. Emily Stephen and uses functional MRI to investigate the encoding of features of speech in humans. She hopes to incorporate functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) into her research to gain further insight into the neural activity related to language processing at a higher temporal resolution. Arielle expects to graduate in 2026.
