James Richardson

Biography

James earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2018 before receiving his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2021.

Following law school, James completed a year of service with AmeriCorps through the Legal Advocates of Massachusetts program, where he worked with a nonprofit organization dedicated to immigration law. He remained on staff and over the next 4 years, he continued to advocate for immigrants and their families, reinforcing his longstanding commitment to expanding access to legal services.

Inspired by his passion for public interest and helping others achieve their professional goals, James transitioned into career development. In his current role, he cultivates partnerships with employers across the private, public and nonprofit sectors to expand recruiting opportunities for students and strengthen connections between employers and the law school community.
