Biography
Doug is the Chief Compliance Officer at Beacon Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser. Before joining Beacon Capital, Doug practiced law with the law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP in their Boston office from 1995 to 2008. Doug is an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® and a member of the Massachusetts Bar. He is the author of chapters in The US Private Equity Fund Compliance Companion and The U.S Private Real Estate Fund Compliance Guide. He also serves on the Newton Historical Commission and the board of directors of MassBike.
