Admitted JD Students

Welcome to BU Law and congratulations on becoming a member of the Class of 2027—the 155th class to graduate from the school. We look forward to preparing you for the excitement and demands you’ll encounter throughout your career. Learning the law is a challenging and absorbing lifelong pursuit. Here, we’ll guide you through a disciplined first-year curriculum that lays the foundation for your future professional success.

You’ll learn to examine a problem from a variety of angles and begin to “think like a lawyer.” You’ll also develop the sophisticated research and communication skills necessary to remain apprised of changes in the law and to communicate with colleagues, clients, and judges clearly and persuasively. Finally, you’ll acquire the theoretical and practical base that will help you develop confidence in your ability to practice and grow in your chosen profession.
