As a Senior ISSO Coordinator, Spencer Jamieson provides administrative assistance to a diverse international student, scholar, and employee population of nearly 12,000.  He advises clients on basic immigration and university procedures and performs preliminary immigration processing.

Prior to joining Global Programs, Spencer worked in research at an executive search firm in Boston and completed a term with the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, a federally funded national service agency. He also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Geography at the University of Connecticut.

Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Geography from the University of Connecticut. He has travelled extensively across Europe, South America, and the Midwest. In his free time, he enjoys reading fiction, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
