As an International Student Advisor for Admissions, Gregory Hunt Smith is responsible for performing detailed credential and immigration review and analysis, creating new student profiles, issuing immigration documents, and advising incoming students to facilitate their arrival in the US in the appropriate immigration status.

Prior to joining Global Programs, Gregory worked in several different sectors, including non-profits, K-12 education, and agriculture. He taught English in Coslada, Spain and earned his Master of Arts in Global Higher Education from La Universidad de Alcalá. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Davidson College, Gregory worked in the Dean Rusk International Studies Program and formed the roots of his interest in international education.

​​At Davidson, he was awarded a grant to complete an internship on an organic blueberry farm in South Korea. He is passionate about foreign languages and sustainable agriculture.
