“Summer Season Performance” – 7.18.15
The BoSoma Dance Company presents the “Summer Season Performance” on July 18, 2015.Take a moment to be in the moment and explore the opportunity to shut down. Based on the differences in everyday human interactions, BoSoma Dance Company will debut an excerpt of company directors, Katherine Hooper and Irada Djelassi’s, new collaborative project: Turn On, Boot Up, Jack In.
With our ever-increasing and changing dependency on technology, this piece explores being controlled by our devices, the work-life balance, and the need for “the human moment.” The company will also perform repertory such as their passionate piece, Quanta, and Lost It To Trying. Students from the 2015 summer dance intensive will showcase new work set throughout the previous week’s program.
$18 – General Admission
$15 Student/Senior/BDA
The performance will be in the Boston University Dance Theater.
