Meet the newest member of the Dean of Students’ staff.
Please welcome the newest member of the Dean of Students’ office, Darcy Dubois!
Dubois works in the Dean of Students Office as the Special Assistant to the Dean of Students. She previously worked for 10 years as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life at Wheelock College. Now she has joined the Terrier pack to help with the transitions related to the merger between BU and Wheelock.
She refers to herself as a “higher education change agent,” to help all students transitioning from other institutions. “I have an open door policy and am open to being an advisor or mentor to students through this change,” said Dubois.
Dubois, a Massachusetts native, received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hofstra University, and her Masters from Suffolk University in higher education administration. Before joining BU, Darcy worked at Wheelock College, Mount Ida College, and Emmanuel College.
In addition to her higher education career, she is a devoted mother to a seven year old son and a lover of arts and culture.
To learn more about her and what she does, I encourage you to stop by the DOS office and give her a warm Terrier welcome.
