Dear Parents,

Thanksgiving and fall break are just around the corner—whether your student is coming home or staying on campus, there are some things you should know. First, if your student is staying on campus, the dormitories will remain open for the break. Your student may remain in his or her own dorm room and Dining Services at Warren Towers will be open as well.

Second, if your student will be staying with us, know that there will be Thanksgiving dinner served at Warren Towers on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 PM. In addition, local students often invite fellow Terriers to their homes for Thanksgiving dinner. If this American tradition is new to your student, this is a wonderful way to experience the holiday!

Finally, if your student is coming home, enjoy your time together. The break will go by entirely too fast. You may also notice that your son or daughter has new expectations after living independently—be patient, keep an open dialog, and read our Parent Blog post for some moral support.
