CFA Food Drive

Boston University College of Fine Arts is hosting our second annual CFA-wide Food Drive! All members of the CFA community can donate food to the BU Food Pantry to provide meals to BU students in need. It is estimated that 30-50% of college students experience food insecurity, and learning and thriving can't happen when a student is concerned about where their next meal will come from. The BU Food Pantry is available to all BU students, and in the 2024-2025 school year, the pantry distributed over 18,000 pounds of food!

Last year, the College of Fine Arts alone donated 99 pounds of food to the BU Food Pantry! Our goal this year is to surpass our donation amount from last year so we can provide even more for our students in need. Help us be a part of making a difference in our students' wellbeing.

Acceptable food item donations include non-perishable food in jars, cans, and sealed packets such as sauce, soup, vegetables, beans, peanut butter, jam/jelly, pasta, rice, canned fish or chicken, boxed cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, tea, ramen, and packaged popcorn.

You may drop off food items during business hours (9am-5pm) from October 14 -17 in the designated bin at the CFA Dean’s Office (855 Commonwealth Ave, Room 230).
