Bio
Fulbright Scholar from the 2021 cohort. Graduated with honors with a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Neuroscience from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. During her masters, she was awarded a traineeship in the neuropathology of Alzheimer’s disease in Germany. After graduation, she worked as a neuropsychologist and study coordinator studying the disruption of functional brain connectivity in patients with impaired consciousness after acute brain injury at the ICU. Before joining GPN, she was a trainee at the Physiology of Cognition Lab at the University of Liège in Belgium.
Research Interests
The role of Tau and repetitive head impacts in functional connectivity disruption of large-scale human brain networks.
