Chloe Schwartz

Chloe received a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Cognitive Studies and Violin Performance from Vanderbilt University in May 2026. Combining her interests in the brain and music, she conducted undergraduate research at the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab, where she investigated the relationships between rhythm and social communication in adults and children with autism spectrum disorder. She also served as a research assistant at the UCLA Kuhn Lab, examining the effects of low-intensity transcranial focused ultrasound in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and mild cognitive impairment.

Following graduation, Chloe joined the BU ADRC and CTE Center as a Clinical Research Assistant primarily for the Health Outreach Program for the Elderly (HOPE) study. Chloe is especially passionate about the assessment and diagnosis of neurodegenerative disease and acquired brain injury, and plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of brain injury/repetitive head impacts and neurodegenerative disease, with a particular emphasis on the clinical manifestations and diagnostic criteria of CTE.
