Background

Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology with a minor in Public Health from Boston University in 2022. As an undergraduate clinical research assistant, she aimed to combat persistent healthcare disparities in pediatric ADHD care through psychometric development, psychosocial education, and improving behavioral health services at a large safety-net hospital. She has also assisted in other research projects involving the feasibility of virtual reality technology in psychiatric clinical settings and quality improvement in critical care.

She currently works as a health science specialist at the PTSD Brain Bank at the Jamaica Plain Veterans Administration, where she assists with the study of postmortem brain donations for signs of neurotraumatic and neurodegenerative diseases.

Research Interests

Chelsea’s research interests focus on the field of neuropsychiatry and she hopes to work in the development of diagnostic tools and treatment options as a physician-scientist.
