Background

Bobby joined the CTE Center after graduating from Boston University with a BA in Neuroscience. He has been working as a research data analyst III since September 2022, serving roles on both the clinical research and data teams, and contributing to the publication of many abstracts and manuscripts. His research primarily focuses on characterizing the relationship between exposure to repetitive head impacts and its effect on the development of CTE. He also contributes to research investigating the role of genetics in CTE, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders.

Bobby has led research projects examining ice hockey and American football play as risk factors for CTE, military exposure within brain bank donors, and the role of genetics in CTE and AD. Bobby also possesses a strong analytical background, performing both statistical analyses for research projects and variety of data science roles oriented around the management and use of data across multiple studies.
