Bio
Annalise is a PhD student in the Department of Behavioral Neurosciences at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is currently working on research under Dr. Michael Alosco at the BU CTE Center looking at biomarkers of disease activity and neuronal damage in CTE. Annalise received her B.S. in Cognitive Science spec. Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. She worked as a clinical research coordinator in neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis research in San Diego before moving to Boston to pursue her PhD.
Research Interests
Annalise’s research interests surround understanding biomarkers of damage and disease activity in CTE, and improving our ability to diagnose CTE during life. Additionally, she is interested in biological aging and the development of CTE after exposure to repetitive head impacts.
