Background

Annalise is a Behavioral Neurosciences PhD candidate at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is currently working on research under Dr. Michael Alosco at the BU CTE Center investigating in vivo biomarkers of later-life pathological consequences of repetitive head impacts, including vascular injury. Annalise received her BS in Cognitive Science spec. Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. She worked in clinical neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis research at UC San Diego before moving to Boston to pursue her PhD.

Research Interests

Annalise’s research interests include in vivo biomarkers of later-life pathological consequences of repetitive head impact exposure. Specifically, she is interested in leveraging neuroimaging techniques and fluid biomarkers to investigate vascular injury.
