Abigail Young

Bio

Abby graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in both Neuroscience and Psychology. As an undergraduate, Abby primarily worked in the Educational Neuroscience Lab, focusing on the intersection of mathematical attainment in children and brain imaging. She joined the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) and CTE Center at BU in January 2025. Abby is currently a research assistant for the BU ADRC’s clinical core studies and facilitates patient visits in the Memory and Aging Clinic at BU and Boston Medical Center.

Research Interests

Abby is particularly interested in research that explores the connections between different forms of dementia in individuals with a history of traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
