The Department of Classical Studies in 2026 revised many of its majors and minors giving them new names. Those who have declared before July 2026 may choose to keep their major & major requirements OR change to a new major with revised requirements. How to declare a major: 

  1. Meet with a faculty advisor. If you are unsure who to meet with, our Director of Undergraduate Studies is happy to meet with you.
  2. Complete a Major Declaration form
  3. Complete the CAS Major Declaration form
    * This form only applies to CAS students. Students in other colleges should consult academic advisors with in their college.
