Majors and minors in classical studies are eligible for housing in the newly renovated Classics House, a three-story, co-ed brownstone housing 17 students located on tree-lined, picturesque Bay State Road.
The house is the base for the Undergraduate Classics Association, a student-run organization that sponsors lectures, dinners, trips to museums and the theater, and various other social and scholarly events.
Incoming freshmen interested in applying for the Classics House must specify this preference on the Boston University application to be considered. Returning students must fill out the Specialty Housing Application Form to be considered for the Classics House. Because there is limited space in the house, those students who have applied for the house and are eligible will then be entered in a lottery. For more information about the Classics House, call the Office of Residence Life (617-353-4380) or read about Specialty Residences on the Housing website.
