Teaching Assistant Application

The Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences (CDS) is seeking applications from graduate students interested in serving as Teaching Assistants (TAs). This opportunity is suitable for individuals who have experience in the foundational competency areas of data science, including basic and/or advanced programming skills, data modeling/visualization, and mathematics and computing to express data analysis (calculus, linear algebra, and probability). Particular attention will be given to applicants who have a demonstrated interest or background in interdisciplinary work.

In addition to CDS covering accepted applicants’ TA stipends, TAs will have the opportunity to engage with the growing CDS community through participation in events, colloquia, and additional experiential learning opportunities with BU Spark!
