CDS Welcomes New Staff Members

Parita Danole, Learning Facilitator for the Online Master's in Data Science (Joined CDS in Aug 2024)
Parita acts as the primary academic contact for students in the Online Master's in Data Science (OMDS) program, fostering an enjoyable and interactive learning environment. She oversees the implementation of academic content, offers timely feedback, responds to student inquiries, and collaborates with faculty to improve course delivery and operations. With over four years of experience in the IT industry, she has a strong foundation in software development, data science, and machine learning. Parita holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Data Analytics from Boston University. While at BU, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. Read more.
Annie Imperato, Student Success Specialist for the Online Master's in Data Science (Joined CDS in Aug 2024)
Annie advises and assist online students as they travel their path to degree completion. Her primary duties include advising and monitoring students academic progress, as well as providing guidance to help them locate the resources they need to complete their degree program successfully. Annie will also host events to foster community throughout the program. Prior to joining CDS, Annie worked for Boston University Metropolitan College for nine years, assisting and advising graduate and undergraduate students from the point of inquiry to graduation. David Kim, Learning Facilitator for the Online Master's in Data Science (Joined CDS in Aug 2024)
David is the primary contact for online master's students, he ensures a positive and engaging learning experience in their online courses. He supports students by answering questions, holding online office hours, participating in discussion forums, providing feedback on assignments, grading, and collaborating with the faculty. Before attending Boston University, David served in the South Korean Navy as a Translator/Interpreter and a Squad Leader at the Submarine Force Command. While pursuing his Bachelor's degree, he worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computing and Data Science (CDS) and the Questrom School of Business. Read more.
Rachelle Regan, Building Program Manager (Joined CDS in Spring 2024)
Rachelle oversees the strategic planning of CDS space, including the main event space. She is also the primary contact for room reservations, providing on-site support to all faculty, staff, and students using the building spaces. Previously, Rachelle worked as the Senior Office Manager for Financial Affairs at Boston University. She managed the day-to-day operational office needs of all thirteen departments within Financial Affairs and helped them achieve the coveted Gold Level Green Department Certification from BU Sustainability. Gary Wilson, Assistant Director of Admissions, Online Master's in Data Science (Joined CDS in June 2024)
Gary oversees all parts of the admissions process for online master's students; from application submission, to acceptance, enrollment and beyond. His primary responsibilities include meeting with prospective students, helping implement enrollment strategies, and preparing students for their OMDS journey. Before joining CDS, Gary worked as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for the last eight years. Read more.
