Current Research:
My research investigates motor circuits in the medulla’s reticular nuclei, focusing on the cell types, connectivity, and coordination that control head and neck muscles. By using cutting-edge techniques such as single-cell RNA sequencing, in situ hybridization, and viral projection mapping, the work aims to uncover how diverse motor systems are coordinated to produce coherent behavior.
