Current Research:
Neurons are both plastic and robust, scaling their signal strength dynamically depending on context. My research focuses on expanding our understanding of homeostatic plasticity, a scaling process key to neuronal balance and preserving functions like information encoding. Ultimately, I aim to connect our knowledge of molecular mechanisms with their functional and behavioral outcomes in animals.
