With stay-at-home advisories issued nationwide and COVID-19 requiring all levels of government to respond to this emergency, what does this mean for the state of the race? Are Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders correct to lay low during this crisis? Will voters crave a change in leadership come November or back a “wartime president,” as President Trump has described himself? Is this a moment that requires us to listen to our local leaders and ignore the noise around presidential politics?
