  1. ‘Climate science’ is one of THE GREATEST con games ever pulled on our society – and before labeling me as a denier, here’s my take on the subject .. three simple rules that EACH of us can follow and the impact can be dramatic (vs the ‘revolution without providence’ that the science folks espouse.

    1. Use less. Just as it suggests .. a little less ‘gross consumerism’ will make an enormous difference. Hang around the transfer station at your local town and just look at what comes in as refuse over 4hrs .. you’ll be astounded .. as all of it is landfill bound (or burnt for energy)

    2. Try reusing/repairing things vs tossing them into landfills. Taking it one step further, avoid products that aren’t easily repaired. (The apartment refrigerator you use has about 4 working parts, they’re too hard to buy and too expensive to fix, so when it breaks, the whole thing gets tossed. Just consider ‘Allston Christmas and the waste that represents. There are THOUSANDS of other examples)

    3. Be mindful of your footprint. Close and seal windows during heating/cooling season. Don’t waste resources. Go visit a family farm if you’d like to see how simple life can be. The same people, screaming the loudest can’t get by without the latest iPhone release – and who cares about the rare earth components discarded with the old phone (that functioned perfectly)

Global climate change is nothing more than a ‘taxation’ scam – direct (govts looking for more spending resources) and indirect (corporations pushing unnecessary upgrades to perfectly functioning products) all in the name of ‘progress’ .. the grandstanders have been hyperventilating for DECADES .. and NOBODY has given ‘industry’ credit for wildly improving gas mileage in vehicles, or for the energy industry’s major improvements in sourcing raw material.

This article doesn’t touch on the FOOD INDUSTRY and how chemical growing and pesticide usage is every bit as responsible for ‘change’ as CO2. The subject is just so nebulous that it’s mostly ‘white noise’

The one thing ‘climate scientists’ (who like many scientists have lost a tremendous amount of credibility in recent years) fail to ever state is – ‘what should the climate be today?’ .. in very real terms, ‘what should it be vs what we now see/experience?’

These folks simply need to do a better job of relating their points.

  2. Climate change has been happening for over 5 Billion years! As has Algae, Disease-Bearing Ticks, Erratic Snowfall, Tainted Oysters and Extreme Temperatures. We did more harm to our own environment with the wind turbines and the debris from a destroyed blade than any of the other things listed

  3. Earth’s climate has never NOT been changing. Typical liberal fear-mongering here folks. We will adapt, we will be fine. Many more important things to worry yourselves with.

  4. Hi there ! I’m delighted to get to know this opportunity since I’ve been doing engineering in mechanical engineering and energy major , therefore I firmly believe this new major ” climate change” is going to help me solving a lots of problems in my continent and build my CV. Thank you

  5. This is a well written and constructed piece of journalism. With all of the facts presented, it is hard to believe anyone doesn’t believe that climate change is real and is increasing in severity. Since the start of the industrial revolution and with a generous amount of human generated CO emissions, climate change has been affected by everyone on the planet. It is a huge concern ecologically and economically. I support any legislation that controls the generation of greenhouse gasses.
