    While we are on the topic of BU:
    Cumulative inflation since January 2020 = 21.787%
    BU’s merit increase “pots”, cumulative since Jan. 2020 = 13.36% [0%, 2 & 2.75%, 4%, 4% staff merit increases each year, 2021–2024]

    Is the overall US Economy recovering? Maybe. Are the University’s employees? Not without a second job…

  2. The marine industry has been in a recession since October of 2023. All retail dealerships have been hemorrhaging cash monthly selling product at or below invoice. They’re not telling us the truth.
