On March 27, 2020, Boston University health experts Judy Platt, director of Student Health Services, and Ann Zaia, director of Occupational Health Center, held a Facebook Live discussion on how COVID-19 is impacting BU and the Boston community. They answered live questions from viewers about the best steps people can take to protect themselves as they visit the grocery store or pharmacy, what to do if you or someone you know is showing COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive for infection with the novel coronavirus, and how soon after infection it’s safe to return from isolation. The discussion was moderated by Kat McAlpine, editor of The Brink, BU’s site for research news and discoveries.
